Henry and I love the show
Parenthood on NBC (no spoilers, we've still got 2 episodes left on our DVR!) It's sweet and funny and sad and real (ok, sometimes it's a bit dramatic, but it's a TV show for pete's sake), and it's wonderful. I received the
Parenthood soundtrack for Christmas (thanks Mia and Buddy!) and it's awesome! I love all of the songs and all of the artists (including a new fav, The Swell Season). I think the CD is only available through NBC's site, but it's worth checking out. The reason I was interested in the soundtrack in the first place was for what has quickly become one of my all-time favorite songs: "Forever Young" by Bob Dylan. The lyrics capture my wishes for Nora in a perfect way and I love the music too.
Forever Young
By: Bob Dylan
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the lights surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
May your hands always be busy
May your feet always be swift
May you have a strong foundation
When the winds of changes shift
May your heart always be joyful
And may your song always be sung
May you stay forever young
Forever young, forever young
May you stay forever young.
Parenthood is pretty wonderful.
