A Cotton Anniversary

It's really hard to believe it's been two years since this:

And what a second year it's been. We have grown a lot together in our first year in Kansas City. Lots of awesome memories to look back on - like two new jobs, our sweet new niece Nora Jayne and buying our first house together! We didn't do a great job planning how to celebrate our "cotton" anniversary, although I know Dac has something coming in the mail (that he says is for our new house) that I have no doubt will totally outdo my measly little gift. He also had the idea of visiting a TINY Missouri city called Cotton, but since it's almost 2 hours away, it's a week night and there would be nothing to do there other than say we went to Cotton for our cotton anniversary, we decided against it. But we will definitely, in traditional us fashion, be enjoying dinner out.

Last year, for our "paper" anniversary, we made my favorite work of art together. That is something that will always be special to us. We said then that we would make something together every year... looks like we're already slacking off on that. Or maybe we can make some t-shirts this weekend?

Happy two years to my thoughtful, huge-hearted, best-husband-in-the-world, Dac.
